Club Play sessions take place on a number of days throughout the week/end. Over the last year with Covid restrictions in place members had to sign up before and play in small groups. This has now changed and everyone can mix in. However, we would still ask members to book on the relevant Club Play session via the Members' Area on Club Solution.
Club Play is a great way for new and existing members to come along and play sociable and friendly tennis, find out about other times when people play and of course after tennis have a chat over a drink on the balcony or in the bar.
We're relaunching Club Play starting on Sunday 25th July. So come along and have some great tennis. Dates and times for Club Play are:
Sunday 2pm to 5pm
Wednesday 11am to 1pm
Friday 7pm to 9pm
All sessions are currently on outdoor courts.
Social Tournaments are organised throughout the year and a Calendar of events has been developed for 2021. Full details of the next Tournament can be found on the tennis events page. All tournaments
will be actively promoted to members on the website, by coaches and via email.
Mixed Social Tournament with Lunch - Wednesday 9th June
What a wonderful day's tennis and great friendly and sociable lunch on the balcony after. All 4 grass courts were in use and in fantastic condition after the year's rest in 2020. Groundsman James has done a wonderful job. The tournament was won by 2 guests - Brian and Bill. The long lunch included cake as we celebrated the 70th birthday of one of our members, Grant Young.
Next tournament on Saturday 26th June to celebrate (or not) the country re-opening. The tournament goes ahead whatever the PM decides!
Chapel A has men, ladies, mixed and juniors in external summer leagues.

A set time is given to complete matches and the top two players are promoted to the division above and the bottom two are relegated to the division below.
Assuming there are sufficient numbers the following leagues will be running this year:
