Anne-Marie Howes Kit Kat Tennis Challenge at Chapel A

The Kit Kat Tennis Challenge took place on Saturday in memory of Anne-Marie Howes, a very popular and long standing member who sadly passed away in November 2015.   We had 20 participants and everyone played with or against each other in a 24 point format.

Congratulations to Debbie Howarth and Nigel Hiorns for amassing the most points after 6 rounds.  They won the pack of kit kats and kindly shared them round.  A special mention also to Debbie Snowden for coming 3rd – Debbie hadn’t picked up a tennis racket for some 10 years which illustrates her great racket skills.

It was a fun afternoon and as many people said Anne-Marie would have enjoyed the tennis, the socialising afterwards and got stuck in to her kit kats:)

Many thanks to Sue Stent for organising
