Queens v Chapel A – Wednesday 11th March

This was always going to be a 3-2 v Queens as looked a very close match-up. At 5 Adam Wellstead got his revenge on top class international Madeline Perry 3-1, Niall McKinnon had his hands full with young up and comer Connor Sheen going down in 4 and Dom Hamilton also had to battle with youth losing in 4 to Matt Sidaway.

Near the top though, our own Declan James has been showing some great form of late beating British U19 no2 Patrick Rooney 3-0. then to the final match at no1 and our Eddie Charlton has beaten James Earles in the first half but there were rumours of an in form Earles. unfortunately for us they were true as Earles played the best squash I’ve ever seen him play to confound Eddie and win in straight games.

so it was a 3-2 match but not the win we’d hoped for!
